Happy New Year

Layout By Design Team Member Serendipity
Papers are Daisy D's Modern Romance

Happy New Year! It seems like we just started 2006 and here it is 2007 already. Time seems to fly by faster every year. The weather has been crazy all over the place this year, some places are getting hit harder than they have in decades and other places are enjoying an unusually mild winter. A new year means we have some changes around here, and one of the most exciting is the addition of two new design team members. We welcomed Yvonne and Sharon (scrap-mouse) recently and everyone is excited and eager to see how they contribute to the HTH team. I know they will wow us because they usually do.

Another new and exciting happening in the forums is the addition of a monthly guest design team member. By showcasing a different member’s work each month, maybe we can get to know each other a little better and get to shine a spotlight on each person’s work. Who doesn’t like to be the star of the month? Currently, we get to fawn over the illustrious talents of our very own Chucklebuket, also known as Debbee. Make a pit stop on the main site page and you can get to know a little more about Debbee and delve into her gallery of artwork. Keep watching the announcement forums each month so see who we put in the hot seat. Who knows who might be next? It could be you. Now who needs to win the lottery when you can be guest designer of the month?

Now for the really exciting news. Cyber Crop alert! Clear your calendars the weekend of January 19-21, gals. Send the family away, turn off the phones, lock the door and pull down the shades. Don’t let anyone know you’re home because you need to be glued to your screen at HTH. There will be games, prizes, and oh so delicious scrapping challenges to get your creative juices flowing and to get some pages scrapped. There is something for everyone, I guarantee it. Besides, it’s going to be cold and snowing out. There isn’t a better thing to do with a weekend like that except for snow. Did I mention prizes? Are you ready for the crop of the year? Ha. Go check on your adhesives. Got glue? Got tape? How about cardstock? Primas? Brads? I bet you need to get that stash of yours ready for the big, blowout bonanza. This is the time (right now, go on) to head over to the store to get everything you need for the big weekend. While you’re there, check out the new stuff. Did you stock up on Daisy D’s Romance line? I did. I might have left you a few things, but you had better get it while you can. Rhonda may or may not have put in another order. Only the powers that be know that. Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it and those papers are so lush, romantic and dreamy it makes you want to weep…or each chocolate. Or what the heck? Do both! I do know there are some really cool things coming up, including some Dream Street Papers, Fancy Pants, Bazzill Bling and Bazzill goodies. Rubons, flowers….oh, it makes me weak in the knees just thinking about it. And we haven’t even hit CHA yet. I wish my tax forms would arrive because I’m going to need some serious spending cash after CHA. You’d better beat me to the store when my returns get here because I’ll be doing some damage. I’ll see you in the forums!

Merry Christmas From HTH Creations

With temperatures soaring into the 50’s and 60’s lately, it’s hard to fathom that it’s Christmas time again. If it weren’t for the lights decking out the houses and the nonstop carols being played in the stores, I would swear it was late fall. This year has sped by and I hope we can all take a moment to pause and enjoy ourselves as we reach the end of 2006. I hope you are able to spend some time with family, enjoy hearing from people you might only get a card from once a year and love eating all those wonderful goodies everyone has baked up. It’s the only time of year those calories don’t count, so enjoy them while you can.
While you are basking in the glow of your twinkling Christmas lights, your mind is probably already spinning on to the next holiday and the planning and preparations it will take. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, as hard as that is to believe, and the store( has Daisy D's Modern Romance line of papers and extras in. Time to start planning those romantic photos you’ll be taking to add to your scrapbooks. There is some Bazzill Bling cardstock to go with it, and we also have the Arctic Frog Ski Bunny line in. Check out what the Design Team has been whipping up for you in the gallery and come over for a chat in the forums. Make a resolution now to get to know us better in 2007 because we are a wonderful, diverse, mouthy, rowdy fun group of gals. Happy New Year and don’t forget to leave cookies out for Santa.
